Radiant is a photobook that consists of a large photo series, compiled by three design students. With all three student drawn to avant-garde photography we correlated the booklet name to our design style, thus the name, Radiant. Focusing on the word Radiant, it allowed each of us to focus on our own styling as well as giving ourselves the challenge of pairing our different photos together. Vivid, abstract and modern works of art is what attracts my design style and with this booklet I wanted to take a literal approach using my styling. Advancing forward with this new method of styling opened new opportunities and other ways to explore my abilities in composing and capturing lighting in different atmospheres. Using precision in my work got me to thinking in-depth on what radiant truly means and what is the best way it should be represented. With minimal post editing, these images below are the final outcome of the lights captured in their true nature.
